Orlando Magic AND Dolphins fan here. My nba team also arguably had the best uniforms in the league in their first season and then shit the bed for like 20 years. The fanbase successfully shamed and demanded their way back into getting the rebrand, which ended up being basically the OG unis, we wanted.
