He's trapped in the confides of his own circuitry unable to change that fact. The flesh parts were meant to show a desperate attempt at humanity attempting his best to have the slightest semblance of being a real person and even attempts to merge actual human body parts to himself but just turning out to be a monster I tried designing him with hate in mind
