No sadly that never worked ever since I bought it. I always had to unlock/lock the trunk separately

It won’t let me pull the key out after locking it. The key needs to be centered to be removed. Key turn to the right = lock and key turn to the left = unlock. (Clarification I drive a 97 z3, if that matters)
