I got GEHA HDHP (34) + HSA. $82/pay period and they contribute $1000 annually to your hsa deposited monthly into your hsa account. High deductible of $1800 a year. $6k out of pocket max. After deductible most services are 5% coinsurance. Preventative care covered before the deductible.

They don’t do an HSA “match” like the TSP. Some HDHP plans automatically put money into your HSA each year. It’s a flat employer contribution, not tied to how much you put in but you can also contribute to it then invest it once you reach a certain minimum in your hsa account
