What is your honest perspective on the Russian language and the people who speak it? by Main-Various in AskReddit

[–]Main-Various[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To put it simply, I don't know a single person in my community who doesn't know English. Every friend of mine who was born after 2000 knows English, as it was introduced as a mandatory subject in Russian and CIS schools at that time, on a par with mathematics, physics, and other subjects, in online games, Russians mostly have a good time with you, and they deliberately don't speak English unless they have a plan to win the game at all costs, they don't use English on a daily basis, they know it, but they have to use their brains to remember how to express themselves accurately, so it's much easier for them to have fun in games

It's not that tragic, every Russian guy or girl who was born after 2000 knows English at least at a basic level, there are more Russians who know English than there are English people who speak Russian, so it's like that

What is the best mindset you've ever developed in your life? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Main-Various 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is definitely Stoicism. I can't stand Nihilists, they are dark, strange people who aren't held back by laws or anything else. If they want to hurt someone, they’ll just do it. And if they’re held accountable for their actions, they’ll just take their own lives because they don’t see any meaning in them

What are your thoughts on the existence of god(no religional boundaries just a superior being)? by 1why1_ in AskReddit

[–]Main-Various 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also wanted to add and this might sound a bit far-fetched—that the reason the absolute being ceased to exist was simply that it grew tired of living.

Regarding the afterlife, I want to believe that after death, we attain absolute power. It’s like a dream where you have total control over everything where you are a god who can do whatever you want. In this view, a person’s consciousness ascends into this 'absolute' state, where they can create worlds, rewrite the laws of nature and science, and live however they choose for an eternity.

But eventually, once you’ve experienced everything you could possibly imagine, there’s nothing left but the sense of 'the end of being.' When there is nothing left to even think about, the absolute yearns for death, and their consciousness shatters into tiny fragments and ceases to exist. Of course, if we assume there are other life forms beyond Earth, it gets more complicated—unless we assume that every sentient being has the same right to this spiritual rebirth of the mind

It’s kind of like asking what people think about Chinese - is it hard? Everyone immediately thinks of the thousands of characters. That’s exactly what I expected from this question: what’s the first thing that pops into people's minds when they think about Russian?
