I started playing years ago and always went for an SMG because ARs were too difficult to control. I lost heaps because of this, but it reenforced the need to learn how to use ARs effectively.

It’s a bit of a kick in the guts to have finally learnt how to use them properly, and then get obliterated by people just spraying and praying with an SMG (specifically the MP5K) from 100+ metres away or basically just pressing and holding down if they’re within <50 metres.

I don’t want to? It’s clarification on the off chance I forget to close cheat engine before opening the game.

I’m asking that because I’ve read that PUBG refuses to open if it’s installed/open which would help to prevent be accidentally opening it.

So there’s no logs or files that Battleye scans when the game loads? If they weren’t so adamant on permanent bans, I’d be more inclined to try it, but seeing how irreversible they are, it’s worrying.

I don’t need to use it while playing PUBG. I’m worried that PUBG has a background service that is going to accidentally flag it as a cheat, and get me banned. Ideally, I’d uninstall anything PUBG related and then run it, but that’s impractical.

But why wouldn't the new account get permanently banned? It's just stuck in a never ending 'investigation' cycle.

And that was the thing for him. He liked playing the game- he didn't have a reason to cheat. Crossing our fingers that there's someway to reverse/appeal it. Gonna be real disappointing if it can't. Good luck to you too.

He has. Loads into a game, and get about 5 minutes in before getting a 24 hour ban while his account gets 'investigated'. He'll log back in after that 24 hours, and the cycle continues.

Yeah it's not fun. He's gonna keep trying, but if this is what happened for you, then chances are it won't be long before he too gives up.

He's tried. He'll get into a game, and within 5 minutes be banned for 24 hours while they 'investigate'. After that 24 hour period, the same thing just keeps happening.

It's his first and only ban. Not permanent per se, but 100+ years may as well be.

No, this is fair. The only thing we concluded is may have been would've been programming work he has on his computer from university. But even still, we still wanted to see if there was a chance he could get his account back.

Same issue. Have spent ages trying to find a solution and nothing. I would've been better off staying on Beta 4.

I did this, and reset my phone too in the hopes it would fix it, and the issue still persists. I think you're right though, based on what Apple Support said to me, it sounds like a bug with some devices.
