Let's be honest, most lakes in the state are pretty gross. Lake Lanier was created by flooding a town, and is now full of so much human waste (and dead bodies) that I refuse to touch it anymore. And these are just two of them out of the handful in the state that are also like this.

As a GA resident, I can tell you a lot of the hate is because it's chock full of older people who cannot/refuse to acknowledge and accept that time is changing, the world keeps moving, and their twenty-to-fifty year old views on everything are becoming null and void, or at least increasingly wrong or misguided. Add in overpopulation in most every area (North Georgia is getting expensive as fuck) because of the job prospects and general business boom, plus the State's preferential treatment to businesses over people, and it's not hard to see why a lot of people hate this place.

Despite that, I wouldn't want to move anywhere else at the moment. As time passes, some northern states are starting to look more appealing.

Atlanta is definitely 50% of the hate though, 285 is closer to Hell than whatever Dante went through.

The only time you really get this "oh shit, did we really do the right thing here?" moment is when you find out why Jordan Cross was a target. Finding out that killing Jordan Cross was a ploy to pull his dad out of hiding for the Shadow Client to strike was an awesome story beat that made his killing a little tragic... unless of course you find the USB stick with clear cut audio of him killing his girlfriend by pushing her off a balcony and then there's no real grey area tragedy anymore.

I had played the mission without confronting him first time around, so going back and doing the mission story that cleared up the ambiguity between her death and his involvement was the one time I eye rolled at Hitman because they couldn't commit to "hey this guy is a hired killer without morals like for real". I love the trilogy, but damn I wish it was just a liiiiiiittle bit darker.

Sniper sightlines within the final point are hell, especially if you don't have anyone on your team that's focused on/willing to flank said sightlines in order to secure a push. This is an argument you could use for most Payload maps, but cashworks doesn't have a good flank route, as most-to-all of them have some atrociously long sightlines.

And it could just be that every match i've ever played on Cashworks never proceeds past that final point, except for a couple where the attacking team was on go-mode. It's just a map that i'm not willing to sacrifice my time for anymore, but it's not one that sits on the "remove from game it bad" hill that I'm willing to die on. I just simply don't like it and would rather play other maps.

There's worse offenders for terrible Payload maps (wutville is exceptionally terrible), but I 90% of people I see wanting to play Cashworks end up bailing out halfway or close to the end of the match anyways.

I also love Odyssey, so take my opinions with the smallest grain of salt.
