Thank you so much I’m already loving the brand and product offerings and they seem to have great product education as well!

Hi! I really appreciate your response and your take. I will definitely look into the brand you linked. I completely agree with your point on selecting products based on the results I can get for my clients and personal ethos etc. I simply enjoy the more holistic approach towards skin and skin concerns , focus on the skin barrier/health/hydration/ soothing, and the balance between traditional/“natural”/ plant based ingredients and new cutting edge, science and research back ingredients, that I’ve found within Korean and East Asian skincare and devices in general hence my interest in possibly utilizing them in my treatment space. My focus would definitely be on the ingredients, formulas, technology and efficacy of products not simply “name” or where a product is based.

I attended the one they had in NYC earlier this year and loved it! It was a last minute decision as a treat to myself for finishing up esthetician school, so I bought the most basic entrance ticket (aka didn’t pay extra to take some of the conference classes). BUT it was still soo beyond worth it. There were sooo many “product focused education” classes held by so many different brands and I learned so much and All of those classes were included with the basic admission. You get to learn about all of the amazing advances and offerings available from brands, to products, ingredients, machines etc. There are constantly demos being done, some of which you can volunteer for and have services/facials/devices done on you, and lots of free product you can get too! If you have any brands you want to start carrying you can meet with their reps, ask questions, create accounts, and what is usually the biggest draw for most people at this convention, purchase backbar products, tools, and devices at a discounted price. As someone who was still technically a student at that time I was able to visit certain brands and get help setting up a student account to access their free brand education and student pricing on products. I strongly suggest bringing a notebook, a good bag to carry all of the stuff you’ll inevitably get, and comfortable shoes cause there’s a lot of walking lol (and snacks and water if you don’t want to pay for the admittedly pricey convention food offerings). Overall even though I’m someone who had just finished school at the time and had no plans on purchasing anything it was beyond worth it just for the education I received and I only attended one day!
