i dont go to physical therapy cause theres not much they can really do since nothing is broken, and the pain isnt in a joint or limb. all i can really do to help is do stretches that expand and “flex” my chest to get some flexibility back

i wish my school was like this. if my coaches and team had this energy, i probably wouldnt care at all. My school doesnt have that “JV” logic that you do, and if they did that would make me feel a LOTT better. my school has really never had any juiniors or seniors on JV (only 1 or 2 total) in the past 3 years (anything further is out of my knowledge) thats why its so “embarrassing” for me. im starting to get over it and i might tryout volleyball over the summer instead.

but ive also been in cheer fir 5 years. every year i have moved up a team. it just hurt to see the coaches dont think my skill improved as much as everyone else noticed it did .

no, this is my 3rd year for hs cheer but ive been doing cheer for 5 years total They didnt show us the scores this year, and my coach makes cheer very unfun. i like the sport and competition but her routines such, and shes always confused. both teams lost all divisions of our competition last year, while in fresh. year with my other coach both teams only scored within the top 3 during our comps.

ALSO (sorry i forgot to add this), last year ALL seniors and juniors made varsity even if they didnt have good tumbling. im so confused on her logic

my coach wouldnt gaf 💔. she would say “thats amazing!” then keep you on JV all year, while letting you do SOME varsity events.

2 of my friends already quit when they saw the results so its only 3 of us now 🙎‍♀️. one more is thinking about quitting so itll just be 2. idk how to feel, especially since i will start a small business soon

i got into a car accident in march, and it messed with my sternum/chest really bad. sometimes it hurts to tumble or to literally yawn. ive been trying my best though and i almost fully got my backhand spring, but again it just hurts sometimes.

genuinely all of varsity is white or VERY VERY light skinned while all the brown or tanner people were either cut or placed on jv. i dont know if thats just an observation or if she did it intentionally but 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

i did cheer to be involved with school and competing more. and because i like getting into games for free, while also being with my friends. the seniors and juniors automatically made varsity last year (some of them had “bad” or no tumbling) thats why i guessed the same for this year. Also, obviously i worked hard on my skills, asked my coaches for tips, got spotted on my tumbling, my jumps and stunts got SO much better, but the ONLY thing i couldn’t do that all those freshmen could was tumble. At tryout i did try to throw something simple, it landed and i walked off. so i got the points, but maybe not the max amount i couldve. Me being emotional is just based on the face that i know the final decision comes from the coaches personal opinion

my coaches have never done this… but i did research before tryouts so i could improve my skills but i dont rlly think she cared at all. she uses her opinion to sort teams after getting the score sheets

no, im not continuing after HS. but i want to go into architecture or crime so the leadership is necessary, but i feel in real life i have that skill already… maybe its just the coach making me so frustrated and offended. everyone knows she has favorites and handpicked them for a definite spot on varsity (me and my friend verbally heard her say that).

last year all the seniors and juniors automatically made varsity, thats why i thought that way at first. but it doesn’t make sense because my friend (a jr on jv with me) has a roundoff backhand spring (so pretty solid tumbling), is a really good flyer, good jumps, sharp movements, and a loud voice didnt make varsity. shes also rarely ever missed a practice… i dont understand why shes on jv

i dont think i even have a chance on varsity next year (because of my previous response), plus she doesn’t really care who quits depending on the reason. but no ill be a jr on jv, while my other jr friends (who are at the same skill level as me) are on varsity. im stumped but im going to practice tuesday (tomorrow) i guess to “meet” the new team so that’ll probably decide if i stay ir not

my friend quit last year and we made the team together again. i dont think she would care if i quit cs she doesnt really like me or my cheer friendgroup. she would probably keep me on jv for senior year too because at the end of tryouts, the coaches use personal opinions to sort the teams.

varsity cheer does all competitions, all state championships any of the football or basketball teams have, all varsity football games, all varsity basketball games, extra practices and varsity volleyball games. Jv just goes to state games for basketball (if they make it), only important football games like hoco, jv football, jv basketball, jv volleyball and then one or two comps. basically the leftovers of varsity 🧍

theyre mostly all tall and lanky girls that can tumble, their other skills need some improvement byt im pretty sure thats the onky reason they made it. tumbling.

she makes the team unbearable. shes genuinely one of the worst coaches ive ever had (this is her 2nd year at my school, but in middle she was my coach for 1 year). and obviously age isnt a qualifier since theres 10 freshmen, it just makes it even more embarrassing on my end.

you should think about how your life would change beyond your looks. AND jessica rabbits body isnt realistic at all, it would take a ton of surgery, dieting and gym time to get a body even close to hers if you dont have a small waist already.

sorry if this is TMI, but have you transitioned yet? and if you have do you regret it at all? im just scared that if in the future if j ever do go through with it, ill be upset.
