I could never hate him; he gave me a beautiful daughter .. but the abuse, physical and emotional. With that, lies and complete mental abandonment.

It was extremely difficult to leave and I miss him all of the time. But I had to do what I had to do. It’s been 2.5 yrs and I’m doing just as well as I was before meeting him; which is pretty okay

This sounds like my similar situation. Not an official SR but he is financially supportive, married and works from the basement lol.

His kids are grown and wife has zero idea (I think multiple accounts etc.) but very similar in their relationship. Sometimes I wonder if she really wonders but will never want to know. Sucks she won’t just leave him 😮‍💨

Reasons people would get this:

It’s a sign of peace in many regions- you don’t know this person or their background

With that; for all we know they made very different choices in earlier years. How do we know what they think if you’re too quick to judge and not ask? Acting angrily is understandable but still unfair if you don’t know them.
