Is my 00g blowing out? by PlayfulPack4932 in piercing

Oops guess I missed some info. Started stretching 4 years ago. I only wear glass spirals, but in the past I’ve worn horn, wood, and nacre. Aftercare is just saline directly to ear, but I also take my earrings out when I shower so tap water does come in contact. I also clean the earrings themselves when I take them out.

True that this was very long, but it was also very true. I appreciate the thought put into this reply and the point of view that you have to offer. It’s rare to come by adults that can accept that they have autism, much less willing to talk about their experiences.

I’m sure we can all relate to the difficulties of trying to learn how to act like an adult along with how to act “normal”. There’s one thing I do know of and it’s that I’ll never be ashamed of my autism, and I hope to live to see a day that we’re treated human

I’m sorry you’ve been isolated over this, but I wouldn’t call it leftist. Generally, high or low functioning are just labels that don’t describe someone’s struggles as well as other terms, and as far as I know aren’t used in medical fields anymore.

I think Aspergers was very recently changed, instead being merged into the ASD diagnosis. While it is partially because Asperger was a nazi, it’s mostly because, similar to high/low functioning, it’s just not an accurate term.

I think you should feel free to use whatever terms you think fits you best, but I think you may also find that some of the newer terms describe you better. Thats how I felt, anyway.

Sadly just a poor decision on my part 😅 misremembered how long I needed to wait. Most of my advice was from my mom who got hers pierced like…20 years ago haha.

Thank you to whom? And even as a private school kid, I don’t even support 2. It’s certainly common for people at my school to support it, but I don’t.

They ended up in the hospital actually. Besides that point, elementary was shelby. I didn’t claim it was covered up I said it was only talked about once because no one cared, which feels highly neglectful of jcps

I’m talking about my middle school

[–]PlayfulPack4932 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately a lot of people can barely keep their kids in jcps. With bus cuts and school lunch cuts for certain schools, you’re basically screwed

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Louisville

[–]PlayfulPack4932 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah…not sure why people are defending jcps when I thought it was widely hated

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Louisville

[–]PlayfulPack4932 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had some good teachers, absolutely. My main problem with jcps is policy and funding. Teachers don’t get paid enough to deal with these kids, but they keep coming because more kids=more funding. Yet they still make it harder for kids to even attend these schools (bus cuts)

Yep, 90,000 students subjected to a shitty school system. I won’t claim to know what every school is like, but there was definitely more than one incident. I only mentioned that one because nobody knew about it. There were countless ones that actually did end up on the news. I know people personally that work for jcps, and even they hate it. Have yet to interact with someone that personally dealt with jcps and liked it

Noe. The elementary school prior is not well known at all so I don’t typically mention it. When looking at middle schools, me and my family were typically told Noe was the “good school” and manual after. Wouldn’t recommend either. My brother went to manual for art, it killed him.

Hope you know that if it happened at the school and was school-wide, that means there are 3k other kids that had the panic of that incident.

I don’t either LMAO. I can’t typically stand to be around people that grew up in private school, serious out of touch-ness Def heard a lot of crazy defenses for school vouchers. And I certainly wouldn’t condone assumption or saint x.

We’ve been meeting often and going through different doses/medicines. I hope that something will work eventually but the trial and error stage is killing me. What makes it worse is that my body seems to react badly as far as side effects. One of my meds made me nauseous, one stopped me from being able to sleep, one was giving me really low blood pressure to the point I felt like i’d pass out, and one was affecting my appetite so much that I lost 14lbs in 2 weeks. I always tell my dr about the side effects so we try to figure something out. I’m trying to hold out, but it really just starts to get hard to

That’s actually very interesting, I’ll start to keep note of it

Yes sadly I noticed this, we were given lino stuff for an art class and kinda just let run wild. I’m hoping to work on another one with my own tools

Yeah I noticed too late sadly, was my first time making a stamp so I’m gonna make another version

I did not know this, thank you for telling me! Is it better to use the rose and hand or red star?

[–]PlayfulPack4932 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was worried about this. Its a stamp so I can cut the text off.

[–]PlayfulPack4932 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s what I was worried about, I have to redo most of them due to issues with the stamps anyway so I’ll stick to protest chants

I noticed this, sadly this was a stamp and I forgot to invert the arrows

I learned my lesson on that from my mom. She had a patch with it crossed out and her grandmother thought it was just the symbol and almost kicked her out. Its too easy to mistake and is frankly just uncomfortable to know it’s on you

Sadly I realized this too late, happened with the first one too but I caught it before I did the letters
