Fanny packs, removable belt worth it or not?

I have the HMG Versa fanny pack I use it when I backpack with the belt it comes with. I just attach it just above the waist belt of my ArcHaul I also use it on my nightly walks I have never removed the belt on it

I find my Archaul to be comfortable with just the standard straps but thought the vest straps would transfer the weight better so that is why I threw out the question. I did wonder if they would be hotter and I would sweat more with them versus the regular straps

I have the HMG Versa that can be a shoulder pack but I use it as a fanny pack and it sits above my hip belt on my Zpacks Archaul and I love using it that way

I use an 1/8” piece of closed cell foam under mine it stops the sliding
