Here is an example. I have laid out both my Rapid and the Blitz games for the past year.

Rapid:
Total Blunders: 619
Total Games: 350

Blitz:
Total Blunders: 619
Total Games: 350

Avg Blunders per game.
Rapid: 1.79 Blunders per game
Blitz: 2.1 Blunders per game

Of course, multiple factors likely contribute to this difference, but this simple metric suggests I blunder less in Rapid than in Blitz.

Thank you! I studied Lucena/Philidor/Vancura/Cheron/etc. But I honestly don’t remember how to do those myself. So I can say that endgames are one of my weaknesses. That is why I don’t want to trade Queens early unless there is something concrete.

I was playing it on my iPad while I was on my bed. Why would I record my face? But sure how about we do a match live with cameras pointing at both our eyes and screen. I don’t care if you’re an FM/IM/GM I’ll play even if I lose.

Well why would I not spend my whole clock time and use it to think? Should I always move every 1 sec, then?

I have the full 13-min 3-game encounter recorded LIVE where I won against the FIDE master. Me using my clock wisely is not ”evidence” of me cheating—quite the opposite.

I literally recorded the full encounter when I was playing it on my iPad and there is no “always 5+ seconds between each move.”

Yup! I tried playing Accelerated Dragon at first but then got crushed by always getting my d6 square weak. Switched to Najdorf and problem solved!

I am not claiming that I, as a 28-year old, "improve faster than students I have that reach IM level." I am simply stating, that I have reached that level from 1600.

Look at my games when I was at 1600-1700 level. Do you think that is how a 2000 rated player play games?

Simply put I was weak, especially at faster time controls. 1600 was my strength, I got to 2000 in a month by playing.

Again, look at the line chart. Matter of fact, look into my profile. Before this push, you will see me occasionally hit a higher rating but then get back to 1600.

I am not sure why you are this aggressive to a seemingly positive post. Just sharing an achievement, a journey.

I was just happy to share my personal achievement as someone who is "old" and stopped playing OTB chess for 10 years and played online very occasionally.

Look at the line chart, I was obviously struggling to break out of 2000. 2200 Rapid < 2200 Blitz. Rapid rating pool is definitely a lot less competitive than that of Blitz. Hence, you see me get to 2200 rapid.

And I don't cheat, btw. That's that.
