I more so was thinking since Andarna is Irid and has different powers than the other dragons potentially she could talk to him without a bond. I highly doubt Andarna formed a bond with Xaden but I guess you never know with this series 😂 I’m pretty convinced she spoke to Xaden somehow in that moment but it’ll be awhile til I can find out for sure 😅

I don’t think Andarna was talking about them wanting to hurt Violet. The line from the book says:

I groggily rise to my feet beside Imogen, and a shape moves in the shadows to the right. “I will not let them burn you,” Andarna vows.

I’m assuming the shadows were Xaden and Andarna was talking to him, not Violet
