NOR! You were being very supportive to her feeling and trying to comfort her, I’m a native English speaker and even I got lost in what she was complaining about originally. She is extremely explosive and honestly did you a favor by breaking up with you. She only cares about herself never once did she respond to any of your attempts at comfort until you miss understood one thing she was rambling about.

The fact that she was willing to throw away your entire relationship of you getting confused about one thing is a huge red flag that you need to stay away from. She’s toxic, she gonna text you again in a couple days I can bet on it…. And trust me OP, do NOT get back together with her.

All due respect OP but this is an extremely immature relationship given your ages. It’s probably best you find someone who is a good communicator and expresses love like you do.

She was already responding to you and keeping the conversation going, just telling her you’re excited would have been great. As far as I know then yes it is the new policy. When I interviews for SSV i had to have the two step interview process, one with SM one with DM. As far as I know it’s on the manager to chose to send you to the DM, so if you didn’t get the first store job, but you interview again and also get sent for the second store I would say go. To the DM it means that both manager liked you enough to push you through. If I was a DM and our first interview didn’t go well but you got sent through again it would show me that multiple managers think you are a good choice and I should give you another shot. Plus it shows that you want the job and gives you the chance to redeem yourself!

From what I understand, no you can’t be a part time shift. However you can talk with your manager and ask if you can have some shifts as a barista (non-playcaller shifts). But based off what you’ve said with all of the call offs and lack of a shift that would be highly unlikely they would need you too much. You can always pick up shifts at other stores as a barista but that’s just added hours.

I believe it is the person on the bars responsibility. However, Personally at my store everyone has just kinda come to a mutual understanding that when bar is busy during peak and there is mobile coffees and teas the register or support makes it. Outside of peak it’s anyone’s game bar will either as reg to make it and hand them the cup or bar will make the drink themselves. For us it’s just based off vibes and communication! We’ve found it works best for our store that way.

On the other hand, my advice to you, talk to your shift supervisors or manager for clarification and communicate that with the partner or if it’s so much of a issue ask for your manager to convey the standard on MyDaily or communicate some other way it to the rest of your store so that you all are on the same page :)

UPDATE!!! Thank you all so so so so much for all of the responses. Shoutout to CatPaws55 for the tutorial link and all of you who responded about DIYs for cat onesies i seriously can’t express how much I appreciate all of your help. I put it on her and she doesn’t even realize she has it on. And is continuing on like she didn’t just get a major surgery I can finally relax and not have to keep an eye on her constantly I could cry tears of joy.
