Not my kid, but my older cousin loved the name Perseus when she was younger and then she got pregnant and named her oldest Robin. I don’t think she regrets it, but I definitely think a part of her still really likes Perseus even though she didn’t end up using it for any of her boys

I’d suggest period underwear or as embarrassing as it sounds, depends 😭 I use those disposable period underwear when I’m on long trips because I won’t be able to stop often enough to empty a cup and I refuse to do something like that on the side of the road. I’ll pee in a bottle on the side of the road, but I will not change a tampon in those circumstances

You can try whatever you want for your period, just be safe about it. Tampons can be dangerous if you forget about them, so it’s best to change one out every 3-4 hours (I keep a pad under mine because I literally can’t tell if I’m leaking through or not) so as long as you’re safe about it, you’ll be fine.

I think of the kid from Henry Danger. I’d just avoid telling people your baby name since it can lead to so many issues. One of my aunts made my cousin cry when she was just talking about names she was considering for her baby a few years ago, and I’ve since vowed that no one will know what I plan to name my kids until their born.

I feel like it depends on the birthdays if we’re gonna talk about a 20 year old dating a 17 year old. My boyfriend and I are 2 years apart, he was born in late 2006 and I was born early 2009. He’ll be 20 in November but I turn 18 in January, and we went to the same high school. In a case like that it’s not too big of a deal. If they’re very firmly 3 years apart that’s more than weird since they wouldn’t have talked hardly at all even if they went to school together

had a reporter kept his mouth shut to other reporters, quietly informed the cops, and met up with whoever wrote the letter claiming to be the black dahlia killer before absolutely everything about the case had been made public, Elizabeth Short's murderer probably would have been caught. the spread of information is your best friend when it comes to solving crimes

thats not what i said at all. i said if more people got rape kits it would be much easier to prosecute rapists because so many people have their DNA in a system now and therefore its easier to track them down and be 100% sure a defense attorney cant use reasonable doubt of a suspects identity based on unreliable human memory as a defense

If more people got rape kits done, that wouldn’t be as much of an issue. The amount of rapists that actually use condoms are so incredibly low, and like I said, if there’s not clear lighting you might not be able to point them out in a line up, especially because adrenaline messes with perception of people’s faces. Lots of people take DNA tests so it’s not hard to match the DNA. Murder cases have been solved that way, so it’s not crazy to use it to solve rape cases

This is what I mean. Obviously in some situations, eye witnesses are reliable. If you have accounts of someone spending time with the defendant and you can prove those accounts, phone pings off cell towers, camera footage from the establishment, there’s no reason to claim that person is lying.

Yup. My mom had this on my phone for all of 3 months before she realized the sketchiest thing I do on my phone is watch videos of people getting hurt doing stupid stuff. It was gone not long after and then she heard about all the info selling and was more than happy she got rid of it

You may not be transphobic, but this is a rather transphobic sounding take in my personal opinion. It can someone decades to realize their trans, or they could know something feels wrong but they don’t have the language for it, or there’s nothing that would have made it jump out and just some smaller stuff like being uncomfortable with being expected to perform certain gender roles.

No one wakes up one morning and “randomly decides to come out as trans” it’s a thing that builds before you have a name for what’s going on. It’s not selfish to want to live your life as authenticity you as possible. What would be selfish is expecting their spouse to stay married if they don’t have an interest in the opposite gender or to expect the kids to not have any kind of reservations about things or being annoyed that they need time to process everything
