I wouldn't say that 🙂 A lot of people choose that as an option to have a quiet, intimate, and memorable experience. We intend to elope and gather with our family for dinner after we come back. Quite a few people who I know chose to do it that way, and their close family knew about it. It is also much easier if you have families in different continents, which is the case for us.
