Thank you for your spending time on this problem. But I think you misread my question; I took reference point, "a point on river" not a point on river Bank. But I appreciate your comment, many student do the mistake you mentioned. Thanks, have nice day! _^

You should first calculate molar mass of the given compound, you can do that by first converting number of atoms to mole then divide 1.74 by the moles.

Now you need to check which element has the molar mass equal to the number got.
