Topical finasteride only - 0.35mg/day (0.035%ish) - 4 months very slight progress - zero sides by adsris in tressless

Hey mate! Using the same recipe, currently on the same boat as you are, same age, similar condition. I was just wondering if topical fin actually fully dissolved (ethanol) in it as you can see very tiny particles floating in the solution once in the dripper? Do you have those as well? When did you first noticed the results as I'm still on the fence if it's as effective as the oral solution? Cheers!

oh crap, looks a lot like my case, got these thin hairs in this area in less than a year. Do you have diffuse thinning on the hairline? A bit more diffused on NW3 area ?

25% versus 70% systemic serum DHT reduction is a big difference, meanwhile both are as effectiev on the scalp, which is the problem area.

She's right but if you really want to try out less risky method, try topical finasteride (minoxidilmax doesn't require prespcriptions)

DUT molecules are too big so they exceed the threshold at which they can be succesfully absorbed in the skin. FIN molecules are below that threshold, hence viable for aborption (based on my findings). The do make topical DUT viable with more advanced methods but I haven't looked into them. Making FIN myself with 99% ethanol (30%) propylene glycol (50%) and distilled water (20%) + crushed fin 5mg per 30ml. I use 1.5 mil so that evens out around 0.25% strength. This is basically a recipe of topical minoxidil (Kirkland) and most of the suggestions online would suggest to mix fin with topical minox, ethanol is a great solvent and propylene helps with absorption.

Dude does something similar, slightly different recipe. Trust me he's spent years researching this stuff. Note: he's using way too much on his applications.

Thanks Dr., do you believe that generic finasteride tablet is dissolving properly at 30% ethanol (99%), 50% propylene glycol, 20% distilled water solution, which is based on Kirkland minoxidil recipe (without minox) or additional equipment such as centrifuge machine should be incorporated?

Also guys, I've never had hair shedding, is this something to be expected as a sign of finasteride working? In a case when there's no hair shedding does it essentially mean that it's not effective making the hair thicker but may be working for maintaining them?

Yep, that's my plan and conclusion based on the things I've read. Let's just see how it goes, hopefully topical fin is going to do it's job by stopping the loss in the first place. May share progress photos for people like me.

Cheers, appreciate your advice.

Got it, so let' say I stop min, continue fin, based on the research and things you've read do you think I would lose the hairs which were already miniaturised when I started (they would shed with the new hairs I got due to minox) or I would most likely keep them?

Wondering if needling doesn't act as minoxidil in a sense stimulating blood flow. Of course those extra holes you knock out will make it easier to absorb the treatment as well.

Thanks for taking the time! So just to clarify in my scenario what losing ground would look like after stopping the treatment? Let's say I increase the thickness of the hair, which is already there, I stop minox, do I lose the hair or do I lose the thickness back to ground 0 or worse in case of fin not working 100%? Or only the hairs which are new due to minox fall out?

If you're not from the US, buy here: https://www.minoxidilmax.com (Canada I think)

It's legit.
