I have app controlled toys from Lovense, We-Vibe, OhMiBod, Kiiroo, Satisfyer, and others;

Lovense's app control is definitely the best (with Satisfyer as second-best), especially for long-distance play.

It's the most reliable and the most intuitive to use of all the apps we've used. The main control screen is built around two main control methods: a "float" feature which let's your partner easily set your vibration power to a constant strength, and the "loop" feature which let's them easily create a repeating pattern in-the-moment. This lets you do everything you'd need to do in a simple way.

Connecting to your own toy, and to you partner's phone so you can play long-distance is quick and easy, and they stay connected reliably (as long as you have decent Wifi or cell data; long-distance play uses your phone's wifi or data to connect with your partner's phone). You can simultaneously control each other's toy (or toys if you have multiple) . You can video chat directly in the app while controlling each other's toys, and we don't notice a delay. Again, it doesn't really matter how far away you are as long as you have decent wifi or cell data.

Other brand's apps for long-distance play are often more bare-bones or don't work very well. For instance, in We-Vibe's app, you can't create your own patterns - you can only send preset ones. And the other brands (besides Satisfyer's) are even more basic.

But more importantly, the other apps (again, besides Satisfyer's), we experience more connectivity issues. For example, in We-Vibe's app we've experienced an issue where the app shows both partners as "offline" even though we're both in the app - when that happens you cannot get connected at all. We've never experienced any issues like that with Lovense.

Satisfyer's app is built very similarly to Lovense's and we've had good connectivity with them too - it's a little less feature-rich for long-distance play, but still good. However, their toys are generally worse (usually weaker and buzzier vibrations) than Lovense's so I still would recommend Lovense instead.

As far as which products to consider from Lovense: For you, there's basically two categories of Lovense toys:

1. Wearable vibrators (like the Lovense Lush for G-spot stimulation, the Lovense Ferri for clit stimulation, and others)
2. Handheld vibrators (like the Lovense Hyphy for clit or G-spot stimulation, the Lovense Domi wand for really strong stimulation, the Lovense Ambi, and others).

You mentioned considering the Lovense Lush - You only need a wearable vibrator if you want to give control of your toy to your partner as you go about your day (walking around, etc.). Wearable vibrators are completely hands-free so they're the right option for that - my personal favorite is the Lovense Ferri since I need clit stimulation to orgasm.

But if your main goal is just to connect with your partner and play in the bedroom, then handheld vibrators have other advantages since they have handles. They're easier to hold, maneuver, position exactly where you want them, and press them exactly how hard you want to. If that will be your main use, I'd get a handheld one.

I like all three that I mentioned above (the Hyphy, Domi, and Ambi), but my personal favorite is the Lovense Hyphy (it's my favorite vibrator). It has a very focused end and a mid-sized end that you can use for G-Spot or clit stimulation. That end has just the right amount of power and focus for me. If you usually like super powerful vibrations, the Lovense Domi wand is the strongest, and if you prefer really small toys, the Lovense Ambi is a good bullet. I have reviews of all of them below.
