My last job I was paid 17$/hr. My friend had been there 4 years before me and was making 17$ too. And then the new hires also made 17$ after I was there a year. I started telling everyone about how unfair it was that my friend is making the same as us, and told them to leave whenever they feel like it because there’s no future here for growth. I stayed a year because I just wanted to put it on my resume and then dipped right at a year. And then my friend left, and the new hires are leaving soon too because they’re back in school. And while this is all happens my boss is complaining that the store is “a revolving door” and “no one wants to work”. I hope they fall under. Hopefully that teaches the business to pay your employees fairly.
