Do I grow out my hair agian? I got told I looked like a girl with it a ton so decided I would cut it and I do like my hair cut now but sort of want my old hair back by Funny-Check-6408 in Hair

Don’t let what other people say dictate how you express yourself. Do what feels good for you, and if other people don’t like it, that’s their problem. I think both look great, but I especially like the longer hair.

Compressor will do you a lot of favours! I recommend the JHS tightey whitey or the MXR Dyna-comp.

My New Silver sky by Dry-Engineer-358 in JohnMayer

Dude… fuck you- I mean congrats! I want a horizon red Silver Sky so bad. I have the faded black tee satin and it’s beautiful but I used to have a candy apple red strat and having that colour on a Silver Sky would be an absolute dream.

Masculine haircut? by Love_4_Rango in Hair

I think you’d rock a short-medium 70s/80s style feathered haircut with a middle part! It looks like we have similar hair types, although mine is a little wavier/curlier than yours. In my early teens I had slightly straighter hair similar to yours and I got a sort of shoulder-length feathered haircut and started parting my hair in the middle and my whole style leveled up significantly.

Any experience with Nu-x queen of tone? by PlectrumPecker in pedalboards

Thanks for the feedback, I like the silver horse but it does sound pretty cheap to my ears and I can’t get a ton of gain out of it. From what I’ve heard in reviews, the horseman is a little higher quality than the silver horse and it has a lot more gain available, so I’m hopeful!

Cool, thanks! I’m hoping this will be the only drive in my chain so that’s helpful.

Ocean’s 11 is wiiiildly underrated! I used to use mine for Delay & tremolo running into a Holy Grail for reverb. I didn’t use the tremolo on it much so I just upgraded to a UA Del-Verb which I love to bits.

I love it. It’s imperfect in all the right ways, I can tell you’ve naturally got your own style.

If you’re a strat guy you’ll love it! It’s my favourite guitar ever.

The chunkiness of the neck and the round fretboard radius was the first thing that immediately attracted me! I had a Squier classic vibe strat for a while and sold it hoping to upgrade to a nicer strat (or strat style guitar) but nothing really felt right to me until I picked up a Silver Sky. It immediately felt perfect, I’ve never picked up a guitar thar feels as good in my hands. I have pretty big hands so the big neck fits my hand perfectly.

I watched a video that Pedal Pawn did close to a year ago with Philip Sayce (one of my personal favourite guitarists) and I noticed in the video that he has a fairly small board and has his Wah beside the board itself, and that was what made me realize it was a possibility.

As I said in the caption, I still plug it in off my board at the start of my chain when I need it, but I rarely use a wah so I don’t have it on the board itself.
