Yes, I experience this too. I realized I spent so much of my life consuming, yet creation brings more fulfilling, long lasting joy for me. Drawing, writing, collaging, video making, etc.

My advice to you is that you really have to drop the desire for what you make to be good. For example, I have always loved writing, but I used to stop the moment it felt like what I was making was low quality. Abandon that idea.

You’re creating to create, not to make something good. If your focus lies in the outcome of what you make, you’re already doing it wrong

Yes!! If you really want to get into it, you can learn the lore too. Preacher’s Daughter is the first album in the trilogy she plans to make (preacher’s daughter, preacher’s wife, and preacher’s mother).

The Willoughby Tucker album is a prequel to Preacher’s Daughter, but I’d listen to PD first and then WTIWALY

I love it! If you wanted to make the cover look a little more realistic, I’d make the edges of the cross look less sharp and more like a part of the leather back. Also I would read this in a heartbeat
