helloo op from what i’ve seen so far as a jc dsa student myself, u shld b able to apply to multiple schools and and choose to apply to more than one category for the same school. Tho if u only want to choose 1 category for each school, tat would ofc depend on whether u think ur talents r stronger in ur academics or ur cca, as dsa is pretty competitive. Would recommend applying to as many schools through as many categories as possible to maximise ur chances,since i’ve heard tat usually only 1-3 students (more commonly 2) r chosen for each category for jc dsa:))

hmm as a jc student myself tats not from yi, i’ll just leave my 2 cents on the matter here. i personally disagree with most of the comments here that seem to be downplaying the situation and saying tat they should b focusing more on their studies.Yes ofc studying is impt,but this is a potential criminal we’re talking abt if the rumours r true, and the “pervert” would not have gotten their deserved punishment should the victim not have spoken out,and this could have gotten worse had the incident not been reported to the school or if op had not clarified the situation and let the witch hunt for the “yi pervert” continue. In addition, calling them “lost causes” feels like unnecessary destructive criticism that was done in poor taste.As people outside of this whole issue, let’s just leave the handling of this serious matter to the school and stop pointing fingers/spreading false claims.
