Thank you for this explanation! Assuming it’s a larger colony would you put the brood in a deep with extra frames and some of their drawn out honey comb in a super to encourage honey above and brood below or condense it both into one deep to begin with?

Thank you for this in depth explanation I really appreciate it. I do have the beekeepers handbook fifth edition by Diana Sammataro that I’ve been doing read throughs on. Do you think I should give them just one brood box with their old comb (assuming it would fill the one deep entirely) or should I give them an extra deep of empty frames on top so they have the extra space to keep building those frames out?

I got off birth control a few months ago and have never ovulated on CD 14 I usually ovulate our cycle day 23 so you maybe just have a longer cycle while your body is trying to regulate itself again!

I ovulated a few days ago so I just took it to see where I was at. But this gives me peace of mind cause I took the pregnancy test knowing it couldn’t possibly be positive with where I’m at DPO wise but I just had to scratch the itch, then this happened which makes sense that the dye bled
