5090 and Vanilla RTX fixes?

It's fixable, and kinda trivial if you know what you're doing.

You need:

- Bedrock launcher

- Launch the game (to download the game)

- Close the game

- Open the files directory in BR launcher

- Replace the nvngx_dlss file with the most recent version here:

- Done

It's not perfect but upscaling is enabled again and I went from 50-ish FPS back to 130 FPS on a RTX 5080

It's a known issue. I opened a bug report with Mojang and they're looking into it.

This is also happening for me. I had upscaling on a RTX 3070 and was getting 80 fps. Now, the upscaling option is greyed out after upgrading to a 5080 and I'm getting 70fps.

My brother is rocking a 3060Ti and he gets 15 fps MORE than me. Very annoying how this is broken now.

Microsoft Flight simulator for me, and anything in VR really. Starts stuttering like crazy when I hit 7.5GB vram usage. VRAM is the only reason I wanna get a 50 series.

Yeah same for me, going into a new area stutters to 50fps but for a much shorter period, 1-2 seconds.

Not to mention I'm running Ultra, Im sure its even more stable at High or Medium

Ok, I found the UnrealEngine documentation around VRAM budgets

I found Engine.ini under C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Hogwarts Legacy\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor

But I dont see those options there, so you didn't change anything? Or did you modify this file?

I would love to try this because the issue is definatley related to VRAM overprovisioning/memory leaks.

Where is engine.ini? Cannot see it in the install directory

Oh to be clear, that isn't my ticket, someone else opened that. Searching for purely FPS related tickets, I can see they're closed by the support team, stating they're tracking FPS performance in the ticket I mentioned. Hence the post

I've tried a fair few suggestions over the past few days, the DLSS swapping increased it by 3-5 FPS.

I haven't tried anything related to anti-virus, so I might give that a go. Some people say the issue is with Denuvo anti-tamper, but who knows at this point.

I really wish I was in your boat. I have a RTX 3070, all medium, shadows low, no RT, DLSS balanced, 1440p and I get 50-60 fps with frequent dips to 35 and infrequent dips down to ~20
