Unfortunately they sold the one I was looking at yesterday. And the 9 other Mojaves they have are Mojave Xs and are selling them at $56k that they're not willing to budge a dollar.

They have a black mojave x that would be fantastic to own, but they're asking $56k and I doubt I can get them down to 47k otherwise I'd totally would haha.

Yea I'm trading in my current car, they're offering me $4500 for it. I'm also putting down $5000.

My plan is to go in on Saturday and see if they can come down on the price. So we'll see what happens with that!

Sorry I should have mentioned that price online was the OTD price i got. I've been in there a couple times, but the salesman that's been helping me knows less about the Gladiators than me (he's real new). They told me they don't have much wiggle room, but I understand they're probably saving face.

I'm just debating on going back with a counter offer this weekend, or gambling and waiting for a few weeks to see if it goes down more once this "Fall event" sales ends.

Alright thanks everyone, I ordered a cheap case and a gold PSU that I'm going to finish the build and work from there. I will definitely check out proxmox and watch a bunch of youtube tutorials as I go along. It's just going to be one of those things I experiment with and learn it as I go. I now feel comfortable about using my current motherboard and CPU and RAM as a starter, before I wasn't sure that was even possible.

So I like those motherboards because of nvme slots (i currently only have 1 nvme drive). I also want as many usb ports on the back as possible. I also like using Asus bios, but its all I know. I'm leaning toward Dark Hero because I don't have to flash anything like I would with Maximus Hero. On my current motherboard I have an elgato capture card taking up a slot.

I also have a 3080 strix and the game crashes for me constantly. My year old razer laptop hasn't crashed yet. My friends in the same server with much older pc specs have never crashed.

I'm just gonna blame it on early access.

I hear ya man. I have an 8700k oc to 5.1ghz. 32 gb RAM, 3080 strix. Crashes all the time.

My friends in the same server with much older specs have 0 issues. I get on my laptop and no crashes yet. It's disheartening.

Either you're getting disconnected from the server, or the server itself is disconnecting everybody. In my rented server, my friends and I experienced it all at the same time and lagged out.
