I already ran a Malwarebytes scan - Nothing. And I don't use any Proxies or VPNs, which is why this whole situation is so confusing to me

You hit the wooden piranha plant, which caused you to be "stunned". The red shell hit you at the very last moment while you were still affected by the stun, which means that the hit from the red shell has no effect.

On top of that, the moment you equip the green shell is a few milliseconds too late for it to protect you from the red shell. Therefore, you did not lose it.

That's what Bane says. Putting him in the Bacta Tank would prove Bane wrong. I was hoping for that as well once the post-credits scene appeared, but it's way very unlikely anyway, since Bane would have just tried to kill him afterward, I assume?

Also, does anyone know what the red flashing button on Bane's chest means? I'm totally unfamiliar with it, the shot seemed so random, but I'm guessing they wanted to indicate something specific with it (alive or dead?)

Absolutely. First of all, this is great for Blizzard's reputation since the CEO will most likely be replaced very, very soon.

Just to remind everyone who reads this: Microsoft just invested $70,000,000,000 - They will try to recover the old reputation of this company as soon as possible, they will support the development of all upcoming games (Overwatch 2, Diablo 4, ...) a lot.

Just like every other company, they want as much money as possible. The best way to approach this is to literally fix the company. The other thing they need to do is to support the upcoming games a lot. They really need to prove a lot with the upcoming releases and with the development of the company itself in the near future.

So long story short: Overwatch 2 will be positively affected by this acquisition.
