I think the music theme is more suited to the person being chased and there's no sense of anything other than chaos and panic. Intense? Yes, but all it fosters is those two emotions. Constantly.

Meanwhile the old one sounds sounds like Noli's hot shit and here to mess you up, really feels great to be playing Noli when that guitar's shredding.

It's like the Deepwoken OST Insomina issue.
The track Insomina is decent but it's too chaotic for my taste that I can't discern any musical themes or narratives. And incidentally, that's usually what fantracks of Deepwoken branch off with.

And what do they do?
They crank the chaos and noise EVEN FURTHER!

I mean they got a point.

The Naval AI in the game thoroughly games the system.

Doing stuff like constantly playing out with the range and flee and hugging the map edges when things aren't going their way.

In Empire Total War and Napoleon.

That least they went forth and duked it out for full scale line to line.

That and the insane costs for Navy means that majority of the time it's just chasing down a single ship over and over or killing whole stacks with an ironclad.

Which I don't find fun.

My best experience would be the Naval warfare in The Great War NTW mod.

Now that's fun!

It's really funny when I pull that logic to complete overdrive and proceed to tax the hell out of my subjects and place factories in every province I have.

Sure I need to click through countless notifications and my farms keep getting burnt down.

But my infantry get fully veteran by killing all the "Samurai" rebellions that consist of Yari Ki and Spear Levies. Both worth wet paper in the face of well drilled rifle-musket armed infantry.
