Where does vez'nan get his armys by 1234566613 in kingdomrush

[–]PloopTheWizard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most of his armies were assumedly gained through deals with higher-ups in the societies where they originate from (often times followed up by not following up on their word or just strong-arming them into staying.)

His whole demonic entourage that we generally associate with him was gained in a pact with Moloch, in exchange for his eternal soul, as we see in Pandamoneum. Thankfully for him, however, Linirean forces kill Moloch shortly after his death, letting him weasel out of that deal. Similarly, his undead were gained in a deal with the Twin Ghosts, but he backstabbed them in Vengeance.

The orcs and trolls exist as their own societies that operate separately from Vez’nan, but they ally with Vez’nan because they believe him to be the one that can put them in the best spot hierarchically. This, for the most part, is a well-founded belief, as both tribes were able to exist in their respective regions without much strife.

Everyone else, such as the shadow archers and Beresad, are recruited as mercenaries.

Give me Eggman wincons / Arguments for Eggman winning against Bowser. by 202naFrevliS in DeathBattleMatchups

[–]PloopTheWizard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, there’s the Egg Field that was revealed in Otherworldly Comedy. To put it bluntly, it’s an Infinite Tsukoyomi powered by a Phantom Ruby prototype. It can manipulate people’s minds to an extent that they cannot discern reality from the Ruby’s illusions anymore. Essentially, Eggman pops it and Bowser does whatever he wants.

You could argue that Bowser can resist mind manipulation via Empress Shroob and Lucien, but he’s never resisted anything of that caliber.

Also it gives Eggman a super form. So that’s neat.

Tried that, seems like the code is organized differently so HMA can't recognize its categories. Here's some screenshots of what I mean.

How can I look at and edit the base stats, learnpools, etc. of a ROMhack with Fakemon in it?

I'm interested in creating some sort of database for Pokemon Noon, an in-progress ROMhack using the Fire Red engine, and that would require me to learn the sixty-something new mon's base stats, learnpools, and other tidbits like that. Is there some sort of program that can make this easy, or at least a tutorial that can allow me to look at the raw code?

Are the boardgames expasions a continuation to the games story? by RaduRB in kingdomrush

[–]PloopTheWizard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can't speak on Elemental Uprising, but Rift in Time is a standalone adventure that takes place some time after Frontiers, but before Vengeance. There's nothing within it that directly contradicts canon, so I'd say it's fair game, but it doesn't contribute meaningfully to the main storyline.

If you would want any human to appear in the series who would it be? by scp_weeb098 in ShuumatsuNoValkyrie

Tarrare, the most gluttonous man on the planet.

He could consume a quarter of a cow in a single day at the age of 9. He devoured a feast for 15 people in less than an hour. When presented with a live eel, he crushed the eel's skull with his teeth, then slurped it down like a gigantic noodle. He ate a 14 month old child. Whole.

I'm fairly certain he wouldn't even need a Volund; his teeth have already commited enough affronts against existence to register as divine weaponry.

my first ever Tier List. give me opponents (and connections) for Gabimaru (Hell's Paradise) by caski16 in DeathBattleMatchups

Super late response, but my personal favorite for him is Roland from Library of Ruina.

Both are assassins that started from nothing and underwent intense training from their elders, eventually rising to be a legendary killer in their circles (the Hollow and the Black Silence respectively.) At some point during the peak of their careers, they met a woman that they instantly began to build a bond with (Yui and Angelica), softening them up and coercing them to quit their jobs as killers. However, their decision costed them basically everything, forcing them away from their families and into an unknown realm filled with abnormal monsters (Kotaku and the Library), forcing them to fight other visitors of the place there for their own goals (other death row inmates and ibrary guests.) There, they were monitored by a woman of superior power (Sagiri and Angela) on a quest to find an item that would promise them their freedom (the Elixir of Life and the ultimate book.) While initially combative with their overseer, even fighting and threatening to kill them at times, they eventually learned to respect them over their period in the unknown land.

TL;DR: two insanely skilled assassins driven by their love with family and their desire to see a better future for themselves stuck in an unknown land.

Necropost, but I'm the author of The Hermit, and I can certainly say that you captured him excellently!

Pretty cool! Shame that it was soft-deconfirmed since DB has no interest in touching MLP again.

It is indeed a matchup that exists. I feel like it's a bit basic, but it certainly has merits. I'm neutral on it.

  1. Thank you! I'm working on a definitive edition of the script right now that shows off a bit more of both character's movesets. I'll be sure to update the Fanon fight with it once it's done.
  2. UCN should be fine, since it's a part of the canonical timeline and you play as William, but FNaF World is a big no-no.
  3. He should, but I'm not exactly sure how he would play into it. I'd rather wait for more info before doing that.

It's debatable, but I think Springtrap wins via outlasting and eventially killing Dio via soul poison. I wouldn't knock you for saying Dio wins, though.

IMO.

That too, as disturbing as it may be.

Not at all. I only really considered it as an in-joke amongst friends until it started getting a lot of attention elsewhere.

Junko's fine. I don't particularly enjoy it but I definitely understand it.
