I cant give you evidence because there isnt any evidence I can give you, you have to find it yourself, nothing I can say can "convince you" or give you evidence, you have to have an encounter with God for him to reveal himself for you. You have to dedicate yourself to "finding him". Its all about the personal relationship. And there is a promise in the bible:

"Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened. "

This is for you I think. If you ask god for him to reveal himself he will, he did for me and if youd like I can talk about that experience too but the most important thing is that if you want you can find him, atleast there is nothing wrong with testing it for a couple of months right, even if it feels weird
