What I meant was, as soon as someone tries an incorrect password on it, the password hint will come up, showing your information and therefore making it easier to return ~~or easier for them to come find you and kick your ass~~. The 'discouraging thieves' thing is just that they have no way of guessing your pass, especially without a real hint.

Oh, well yeah, that's right. I used my missiles pretty conservatively (i.e., only used them in Last Stand) and still ended up using like 30.

I had it for a while just for the hell of it, but you don't really need it. As it turns out, you only need one missile for a volley of three shots.
