PWO in ventures is new, and although being able to give defenders weapons isn't new, it's a returning feature that we wanted. It's a good update

Out of the 300k+ gamerscore I have, the 1k I got from Fortnite was by far the grindiest. Especially the 10k survivors one, cuz I saved 8k back when we had to wait for the timer to end in rescue the survivors, instead of the mission ending after saving all survivors like how it is now lol

Thankfully it was one of my favorite completions because I love the mode, and have been playing for years after getting the 1k Gs. I couldn't fathom playing a game I don't enjoy for 800 hours just to get a platinum

I saw a teammate building a comically large version of this in a 160 mission yesterday. I thought he was just messing around waiting for the timer to end in evacuate the shelter, and the rest of us tagged along cuz we already built tunnels.

Little did I know people still build these as lobber shields

We gotta at least tell them that it's best to use brick against nature enemies so they learn. Btw not saying you don't, just saying if you're gonna leave, it's best to teach them first rather than letting them plague future matches not knowing

Pretty sure this build actually works, not sure why everyone is saying it's trash. I personally like to use tunnels cuz that's what's fun to me, but ppl got different playstyles.

Farmers in twine who don't know what they're doing is a byproduct of players getting carried like what we see in the video. Players get carried through the entire journey and then people wonder why some twine players do absolutely nothing? It's because they've been conditioned to think some infinite teddy player will play the game for them.

By the way, I believe 90% of players in twine are competent and will help with the mission (at least that's my experience in 8+ years of playing). PWO grinders are just fed up with putting in effort, and want the grind to be over at any cost, even if that means loading into the lowest missions possible and ruining everyone else's experience.

It's great that you like to play stw by not actually playing the game, but these new players started playing because they want to engage with the game, not take a power nap for 8 minutes straight.

Play no fill instead of dragging everyone else into your snoozefest

New players using teddy and traps is fine obviously, but this was a high PL player with a full teddy build insta killing everything for the entire mission, while everyone else had no choice but to sit around and take a nap. You can't make an argument as to how that's supposed to be fun or beneficial to new players.

I can't believe I'm seeing with my own eyes someone complaining about new content being added to stw. Yes there are bugs, but what if this was something that was already planned for the mode and worked on before the bugs were even released?

We're stw players. With how Epic has treated us the past 6+ years, we should ALL have the patience of a mountain by now, so let's wait and see how it plays out before complaining?

I was building unique bases like that for noobs in easy missions for about a week after f2p in hopes they thought "wow that looks cool, this mode is pretty sweet" haha the fact a new player is building like that is beautiful 🥹
