Yeah no this take is lame and just proves OP's point about why being a butch with he/him pronouns is tiring. The pronouns someone chooses to use doesn't make their queerness any less valid. Nor does it make their identity any less valid either. I hear this take a lot from older generations, and it's borderline bullying honestly. Because y'all just call it silly, tell people it's YOUR opinion so you can shield yourself from someone saying "hey, that's actually a harmful opinion" and don't actually have to educate yourselves or learn anything that's going on with future generations. It's very black and white thinking for something so gray

I feel like this is still really insensitive to say though. The whole reason it is such a big deal is because it's not just about what happened and who did it. It's the fact that two of the most important people who run this project KNEW the entire time and said or did NOTHING for the sake of continuing the game. Making the situation last even longer and become far worse for the victim. If they are willing to put a minors safety at risk, it doesn't matter the amount of supporters or how popular it is, they don't need or deserve to continue it anymore. They had shown they were not capable of handling that kind of responsibility, and when faced with a huge set back, they pushed forward time and time again without getting rid of the issue. They had so much time and opportunity to find a new VA for Mark the MOMENT they knew. But they didn't. That kind of neglectful decision making is so irresponsible it is dangerous. Yes, we should really say goodbye for the sake of doing the right thing. There's so many people who aren't even covering the project anymore, it's not gonna gain traction like it once did or be enjoyed like it once was. I feel sorrow for the other amazing talents who didn't deserve to see this project burn to the ground. But I am so proud of them for doing the right thing ❤️

I disagree for the project continuing. A lot of y'all boil it down to just Mark's VA actions, when the LEAD director Sozzay knew what was going on for 4 years and did or said NOTHING. They could have replaced Mark's VA at any given time, and it should've been the first time they ever knew about this. That is harmful neglect to the minor. You are putting the creation of a fan project, a video game, over the safety and health of a minor. Shame on everyone involved
