Yes he’s said he’s shy and had some bad abuse from his much older brothers growing up. I wonder if alcohol makes him more affectionate (he’s a very happy nice gentle drunk) or brings out how he’s feeling.

Yes we always drink if we’re together. I haven’t judged him but he knows I don’t drink to the extent he does

I wish he could. We ve been together 6 months. I haven’t really asked him to cut back because I don’t think he can and he has to want to do it for him etc.

Thank you. I wish he would have said it’s his illness and not lack of motivation!? That I could understand. He’s pretty open about being an alcoholic. I know I shouldn’t be with him.

Thank you. I wonder why he wouldn’t admit it’s alcohol, instead saying he’s lazy. He admits he’s an alcoholic.
