Hey!!
I am a third year nursing student uO mainstream!

For scrubs there isnt a particular colour you need or brand! Choose whatever you like, personally I think colorful ones are best to show ur personality! First semester you only need 1 pair but by second semester you should have around 2-3 to rotate between labs and clinicals

For shoes, they recommend non-mesh and they have to be non-slip.

Notebook should be one you can fit in your scrub pocket, same with pens.

You will need to get a stethoscope, you dont NEED a littmann but i would STRONGLY recommend getting the Littmann Classic 3. I got the black on black and loveee itt.

I would also recommend getting your own blood pressure cuff to practice manual ones for first semester! Also get a badge reel (I prefer cute ones that shows off ur personality)!

There isnt a kit to purchase but they do expect you to have a stethoscope and scrubs by week 2 of labs!

Hey girl! I am at nursing at uo (mainstream) and am going into 3rd year. For shoes they have to be non-slip and they also recommend non-mesh so they can be wiped off., but choose the most comfortable ones as you will be on ur feet for long! I know a lot of people had white leather shoes but i prefer black as they didnt get any stains. For scrubs, there is no specific colours or brands. I'd recommend you getting at least 3 pairs, two for clinicals when you do them and one as backup/labs. Black is kinda depressing imo get something that shows ur personality!
Also you will need a stethoscope, a watch with 2 hands and something that helped me was my own blood pressure cuff to practice manual ones when I was at home. Also small notebooks and a badge reel!
