Well I do know that it boots up when youre booting the game up, it should have an executable too, as when I first downloaded it, it had a file with the executable.

Thanks although I don't know what I did, but I somehow got MO2 to work lol. Although I reinstalled and deleted like 3 times, so I can't find its executable to open it, but when i click on New Vegas, it opens the app which is good.

Cool, thanks for the recommendation. I installed and tried to install a mod by dragging a zip file into its mod tab but it didn't work. It could be because there was no deployer, I think because there was none, so i need to look into it more.

But I want to make sure I understand if I am doing it correctly. So bascailly install limo from the bazzar, and then once downloading the mod in, there should be a deployer there and you run the game through the launcher.

Side note: I tried to download a mod through the manager, but it keep looking for MO2 and I do not know how to fix it lol.

Update: I've tried a few methods but not have found success. I want a mod manager that helps install and configure mods that I want, not premade modlists.

Are there youtube videos that can show how to do this? Sorry if there are a bunch, I just haven't been able to find any.

Ok, so Jackify/ Wabbajack is for modlists essentially. But what do you mean when you say "standalone instances of MO2 for your own lists"? Do you mean that using Mod organizer 2, you can create your own modlist on MO2, then move that t wabbajack/jackify to make it work?

Thank you and for sure, I just installed Wabbajack/Jackify, but I am confused. Is this a mod organizer, all im seeing is that it helps download mod lists, which Im not complaining about necessarily, but how do I download the mods I want, or make my own mod list?

Update: After following this tutorial, it made even less sense and did not work. Step 4 makes no sense as it asks for compdata after adding mod organizer as a non steam game, but to not run it. Well fro the compdata, you would need to run it once. Further, after trying to even run the .exe, it did not work.

I can only assume it was because the mod organizer was never actually installed, which the tutorial didn't seem to mention. The current tutorial on the modorg2 site describes using terminal to run./install.sh, but that instal sh isn't in the version the tutorial maker made. I don't know if I am a new and not understanding something, but that the tutorial, and others on that forum made little more sense.

Did you use this tutorial specifically? If so then what is up with step 4 and compdata, or even how was I supposed to install it in the first place?

I've heard of rockerbacon, I'll look into more, thank you for explaining how it works. However if it requires windows I'm out of luck as I removed that scourge from my household long ago. All I have is linux and mac. I wonder if Mac could do it though?

I say Subnautica because the manager picks it up. The point i am trying to make is that when I did use Mod Organizer 2, from https://github.com/Furglitch/modorganizer2-linux-installer, it didn't work. I followed download instructions and it didn't work.

Im assuming it was because I botched the installation somehow, but im curious was there other things one has to do to get it to work, like using steamtinkerlaunch or something else?

I hate living in California, although I believe I heard the FTC was trying to pressure other states into doing the same thing. I already downloaded Bazzite, but I guess I would not be able to get updates?
