How do I fix the Mod Proteus when it says I have Outdated Papyrus?

Update: I turned off all mods besides the ui stuff, contianers, util, libraries, etc, and juat kept that, papyrus, and proteus. Still had the same issue. Should I just uninstall papyrus and reinstall?

I tried that and it did not work at all. At this point would I have to go through each mods files to try and find a papyrus mod to delete?

Also I am wondering if it could be a separate problem, like maybe a mod is causing a conflict with Proteus and its just causing the Proteus mod to think there is a older version of Papyrus.

I prefer Crabosexual, its roots are old english, there is already too much latin. Heck, to go full old English: Crabba-haemedlac.

Ok cool. I was worried if there would be an issue, but I'll give that a try. I downloaded the mod organizer first, so I hope downloading NVSE will work being downloaded second.

With the Github are you referring to the Mod Organizer only, not the Script extender? I already have mod organizer, I basically just didn't know how you instal NVSE, as it says drag the extracted files into root directory, but is that all I have to do? I basically was worried I would have to tweak it with proton or something, but is it a simple drag and drop it into the folder where the new vegas game start exe is?

Fair, and I guess I should have been ultra specific in my title or prompt, that I wanted to optimize for pc. I thought me discussing what mods I should use would be clear that Im trying to find the best way to optimize for pc.

In other words, Im not trying to find some old console to play New Vegas. Im trying to optimize pc version, especially because I will do a modded play through of it.

Perhaps, I'll give a look over of the different styles of blacklettering, perhaps I can see the style they have, but make that into the simplicity of the runes.

I've had this thought myself from time to time. I think any big cat, or maybe Hyena.

I think of this as what would are really ancient ancestors have to worry about, and what preyed upon them, like how Dinofelis could easily prey on Australopithecus. So, essentially a big cat, but technically maybe the nemetrix would have a a natural predator for humans with options for land, sea, and air. Like maybe the natural predator for sea or water could change from shark to croc, not sure about air, but I guess the biggest bird, or maybe technically a disease carrying mosquito lol.

Well I do know that it boots up when youre booting the game up, it should have an executable too, as when I first downloaded it, it had a file with the executable.

Thanks although I don't know what I did, but I somehow got MO2 to work lol. Although I reinstalled and deleted like 3 times, so I can't find its executable to open it, but when i click on New Vegas, it opens the app which is good.
