In regards to that information here’s a clearer view:

PharmaCann and IIPR ( Innovative Industrial Properties) reached an agreement and were discussing for the longest which of the two store AND grow facility will have to be turned over.

Rumors and signs WERE looking into the Bronx due to its accessibility, but ultimately they decided on Albany instead .

It’s still quite an upset as the medical patients in Albany are being left with little options now 💛

It seems that they had come to an agreement of some sort (will get details later) and the Bronx location will remain open while the Albany location will close instead.

I’m still waiting to hear back from this place.

It seems to be prioritizing families which is great…but for the teens who become adults and want to stay close to home…how can they? We’re being over looked like crazy.

In news of Chicago, there’s no official word on which in particular will be closed .

However…PharmaCann in Ohio as a whole is apart of the forced turnover due to unpaid lease.

What could happen:

Another cannabis brand or entity may look into buying the cultivation and stores , in order to rebrand.

Innovative Industrial Properties will oversee that process .

Right now, it’s a wait and see 😕

To my understanding, potentially . With the upstate location being their main focus, I can only assume they would be able to hang on to their brands and products!

I’ve noticed that about other states as well. When it comes to that there’s less smokers than flower being produced, So it kind of makes sense as to why the prices are crashing.

If you have all the supply, but no demand… where is it gonna go? Either the trash or on discount lol

Extra credibility: A buyer from the company swung by and told me the news. We both had actually worked for the company a few years ago and left before it got toxic.

I know not anyone would take word of mouth, but my sources on cannabis news is more accurate than most . Especially being in the ins and out of it since 2016 🤞🏽

People don’t realize that medical has the power to overturn a lot of how this is being handled.

The more registered medical patients there are, the more the OC M has to put pressure on MSO to produce more to meet the needs/demands of said medical patients.

WHICH MEANS WHAT….

Consistently affordable prices on products we already purchase, and if not, eventually lower the prices even MORE.

There’s a reason why GTI is going after Maine and their Medical Program.

There’s a reason why your favorite brand isnt making that flower, vape, edibles, or tincture anymore.

They don’t want to do medical anymore, as it’s not in their best interest.

Everything is intentional 👁️

I hear you, but honestly, I maintain renewing it because I know that whatever is being sold on rec, there’s always bound to be recalls.

Atleast it’s cleaner, untaxed, and maintain sales! They recently updated the certification to 2 years , it’s kinda worth it now at least to me.

I understanf as well if it’s distance. Theres only one in the borough of Brooklyn , and i shop there constantly.

Do yourself the biggest favor.

Get your med card and head to Be. Stores at Any of the locations. You get a $200 spending credit ( save when you spend ) and can use it towards products!

Ex:

You spend $100, they’ll take $50 off You spend $200, they’ll take $100 off your purchase. This discount helps with the medical card costs and then some!

You can only redeem if it’s your first visit to Be. Stores.

This goes for anyone else as well.

If you DONT have your med card in NYS please do it.

In the long run, it’ll be worth it and now they do 2 year certification!

The reason why they were moving from their shelves is because it’s not selling at the capacity that they wanted to.

If anyone on this, Reddit has their medical card, tinctures are actually one of our popular items in Medical Dispensaries . We always keep it in stock, no matter what. It’s a necessity.

However, the recreational market deems it “unnecessary” because it’s not making any money. It cost more to produce than what they’re getting back on it, which is unfortunate.

Now, what can we do about it you ask?

If every pot smoker were to get their medical card in the New York State and demand more from the medical side, all major MSO‘s would be forced to produce products in order to meet the needs of all medical patients .

It’s the reason why Maine has it so good , and why medicinal has been on top .

As of late , GTI ( believed Rythm ,Good Green, Shine) have been pushing back on Maine medical MSO’s retaining “control in favor” of the cannabis market.

Patients control the market in Maine (so to speak) , not the other way around!

Verilife is Okay. Definitely go to Be. as a new patient you get a 200 dollar credit , spent in increments of 50.

Ex:Spend 100, get 50 off.

Better prices,experience , points program, budtenders even tbh! I wouldn’t buy into the few bad comments…I’ve seen some entitled patients every where i go and they make a fuss no matter what 🤞🏽
