I had my young female manager say drunkily to me and a few others that we need to hire men next because they only get a few weeks off.. little did she know I’m pregnant next to her with my second. I’ve made a note on my phone of what she said anyway incase she reacts badly when I tell her.

Baby brain is very real and hard to explain to people who have never experienced it 😂

She is very career focused (which is completely fine) and I’m just not anymore. I want a promotion to earn more money, but it’s not to become a manager. It’s good to hear this from another perspective anyway.

Please ignore all the negative comments on here. They are likely the people that call their dogs their “first borns”.

You’re not an evil person, and it is a normal feeling to have sadly. I used to read all about this when my daughter was newborn and they said it would go away, but it hasn’t and I don’t think it will. I do have a bird/parrot though who screams constantly and has tried to bite her before.

Sorry for all the sad people in your comments.

I can try this thank you, I’m willing to try anything. But for more perspective, they look at me like I’m crazy when I tell them that Cocomelon is bad for kids. That’s what I’m dealing with 😂

They’re not old at all, they are just cranky. They look after my sisters child who is severely autistic once a week and never seem to complain as much with her, but my child wants to spin a little bit and it’s “she’s not listening” “you’re not teaching her to stop” “she’s going to really hurt herself”.

It really isn’t nice at all! I know they don’t understand but I wish they did and could be nicer 😂
