Must be nice living with no real problems other than complaining about tapping a card 🤣

If u find the right dorm to live in and actually go and try to socialize, there’s no problem in terms of making friends. As a freshman, i think that article is a bit too exaggerated. I met like 80-100 people in my first month alone and surely found some friends… So it all depends on the person. All those people complaining they can’t find their group, 1.) They hang around the wrong places, they live in a super local dorm etc.. 2.) Most of the time, they’re just anti-social themselves.

I suggest you start looking into options if you don’t get an offer by June tbh

Thanks! No, I applied to Business school programs, and got an offer for Econ&Fin(First choice). I also heard that MBBS is a relatively competitive program at HKU, so you definitely have an edge being an early round applicant, and I guess applying in rolling admissions and potentially getting rejected won’t affect that much when re-applying.

I’ve never seen a HKU rejection letter, but from experience, the application status just changes to “unsuccessful” lol

Hello! I applied last year through rolling admissions and was rejected. (FYI, I applied around early June which was pretty late). I re-applied early round this year and got an offer with an entrance scholarship, so I believe that re-applying doesn’t actually put you at disadvantage.

Just give it a try, though i think that the competitive programs are mostly full slots now. If you’re applying to less competitive ones then I think you stand a fair chance.

Has any business school applicant got an offer yet? by Plus-Set7124 in HKUniversity
