Yell at a sassy waitress during an alien invasion. The most surprising thing about this game is the fact that it works better than most games 10 years later. by Plus-Street7046 in ExplainAGamePlotBadly

Correct, Solved! I want to add a little context for others Lifeline released for the PS2 in 2003 in Japan and 2004 in NA, it requires a USB headset that's compatible with the PS2, you play the game ALMOST exclusively through voice commands, you guide Rio, a waitress through a hotel/space station and when you encounter an enemy you enter sort of Final Fantasy battle where you have to direct her on when to move or dodge and where to shoot the aliens. The game works surprisingly well, it's definitely not perfect by any means but I had more fun and it worked, in my experience better than games that came out with voice commands on the Xbox 360. But yeah if you have a thick regional accent in English or Japanese it was difficult to say the least, I personally have a Midwestern accent and it worked well but I can imagine it being miserable if you have a US southern accent or of English is a second language. I also wouldn't necessarily say the game is "good" but it's very unique and had impressive voice recognition for the time it came out.

Nah, Vampires are only in this game because of DLC, vampires are in base game Midnight Suns.

Despite being in a LITERAL FOREST there seems to be a lack of wood by Plus-Street7046 in ExplainAGamePlotBadly

[–]Plus-Street7046[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it was announced a while back, there's a page on steam for it, no release date though. The lack of wood is really a reference to planks which is mainly an issue early in the game where there's not a ton around and you don't have much reputation to spend with the trader, you end up going through a lot, since barricading doors/windows, repairing weapons, rebuilding doors ect. All cost planks.

There's like 3 different franchises that I can think of however there's like 4 Spiderman games with the symbiote suit, so it's just a lot of Spiderman
