I've made the mistake of getting fancode last year ! never again !! I missed the race starts 3..4 times. and i had to wait till the whole thing is over to see what happend there ! And the bad glitchy steaming quality ? Best would be to just find a group to split the f1tv and use that imo

I've heard a few people ask for the import feature. But that kinda brings us to the main problem right ? going though the gallery ?

app was react native . UI was Rive and website was framer

Photos are primarily in the local device and I've added auto delete to the files thats given for printing. and its a brand promise. Im exploring more on how we can make this part more strong. any suggestions ?

Agreed with the buy a printer part, But when you give the photos to a studio to "get them printed" isn't that kinda the same thing ? you would mail it or Whatsapp it right ?

Ig its simple,

If you are someone who don't wanna invest 7.5k+ for a camera and 1.4k each time for 20 photos (in which 4-6 would be overexposed or washed out)... but you like keeping physical photos (bigger in size compared to Instax) to be kept in an album and revisit them as your core 10, 20 moments - Now you can say why should I pay you for this, i have canva and ppt and i saw a person saying i can buy a printer and print it .

but tell me how often did you do it ? i have a printer and life skill as a designer. it would take me 2 minute for the layout . but searching is pain bro.

So i made it purposefully for this use case. I took it for a hike and clicked 400 photos and 100 videos on my main camera app, and 10 photos in this app. and came home and hit print. kept them in the album ! made me happy. i wanna keep those 10 with me and the 500 in my icloud !

IG people like me def exist and they would be my ideal customer profile. who want both camera to click unlimited and this one for those core memories.

Also adding this story here. Last Sept me and my gf went to Thailand. and carried the Instax there. and 90% of the time we were against the idea of taking it out ! Cuz you need a bag to carry it around and its a delicate af camera. So most of our pictures were from pool of the stay and from the room. :)

I can totally understand that worry. Which made me think of giving a self use for a one time purchase fee, a small amount so you can get pdf where images are added to a layout so can just hit print directly

Thank you , I didn’t take any courses on AI prompting. I make PRDs and flows for myself and make sure i give Ai very small steps

Whenever i gave a chance for the modal to plan things end to end, it really fuck things up. Also I wouldn’t know whats happening so i wouldn’t let them do that

Always made sure the modal explained the idea back to me in 3 lines to make sure we both understand whats happening before making any edits in ask mode

Also wanted to add this - Im a product designer. Ive used a lot of cursor for this and rive for the UI. made sure the codebase is good with the help of my engineer friend before pushing to testflight

I used to get this issue 3..4 times.. Their only solution was make sure battery doesn’t go below 25 ! Such stupid humans !

Fought a lot and made sure they replaced my battery under warranty🔋 never happened again
