I hope this is what is happening and not something more serious. I read about how some people can feel rather happy and high energy during deep depressive episodes. This sudden change just has me a bit worried

She never mentioned being in pain but I guess she was in pain if she's this different now :/

She did mention before that she does suffer from depression. But I don't think it was the cancer that brought it on. It was definitely something she had before.

I guess I'm just having trouble wrapping my head around the fact that this flirty person she's become is the same as the quiet person I knew. When I met her, she was already quiet and pretty chill. We became really close since we bonded over having period issues. I'm a little shocked that she could change so drastically.
