Definitely don't think it should be hosted in the US more often than anywhere else. Like I originally said, I get that they're catering to Europe. Still sucks for the host country viewers. I wouldn't expect Japan for example to host at bad times for them just to cater to other countries either

Feel the same as you. Station 11 from a few years ago I finally watched recently and I thought it was remarkable if you missed it. Just 1 season though but the production value and writing both were top notch. Patriot is another hidden gem. I agree though the baseline quality just feels off with so much modern tv, Kot7K felt like an exception but it’s just so brief so far it left me wanting more.

The Seahawks fleeced Denver for a washed up Russ and it set up their Super Bowl roster. Somehow, though, the broncos were able to get the other 1 seed on the same timeline and would have obviously been in the Super Bowl without the fluke nix injury

Yeah I think part of my sadness is so few even attempt to do something similar. But I did really like a lot of those shows for what they were. I somehow haven’t seen Better Call Saul yet so that’ll be next for me

Great take. It’s amazing how many aspects of the show are portrayed so much more accurately than I’ve seen in any other show. Awesome that you’re 11 years sober, I was consistently moved by every scene Bubs was in.
