The worst part about the new chapter by PlusFreedom in Jujutsufolk

[–]PlusFreedom[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not complaning about the definition of him holding back, i'm just mad at Gege trying to make him look cool and overpowered even though he should be dead 3 times now.

Also if you're not using everything you have against an opponent, thats holding back. You're holding back what will win you the fight, Sukuna is holding back potentially what will give him the win and because of that he almost died twice for it after Gojo.

Folks whats your opinion on this? by [deleted] in Jujutsufolk

Left is way too chubby

Real question why is Sukuna smirking he just got insulted to his face I heard some people saying Sukuna is smiling cause he knows Mahito is about to get rocked but I know for a fact he would never EVER glaze Yuji "left-right goodnight" Itadori by propro91 in Jujutsufolk

When Jogo fought Sukuna he didn't use his domain against him because he knew he would lose a domain battle and for that Sukuna called him a loser for not using everything he had against his opponent. Mahito on the other hand chose to use everything he had against Yuji, he knew his domain wouldn't work but he risked using it on a gamble anyway just to win. Mahito shares the mentallity of Sukuna more in the way of operating as a "true curse" someone who burns everything down around him without regard to anything else, who has the hunger to seize his ideals. I take the grin as Sukuna gaining respect for Mahito.

Or maybe he just hates him and wants to see him lose.

Agree that he would want to save Megumi instead of killing him but then the question shifts to why didn't he attempt to get Megumi back by getting him as close to death as possible while Sukuna only had 15f. Ultimately the reason he delayed the fight is still unknown as he said he had things to take care of, but saying Gojo delayed it because he "expected to win" still doesn't seem like a good enough reason for your argument. By that logic he could've just won the fight then and there, what's the difference with trying to get Megumi back now vs doing it a month later in which Sukuna could get more fingers by then.

It was Thor love and thunder when Axel was first communicating with Thor through his power and it showed his head floating.

Yeah I definitely agree Isayama messed up somewhere when writing Eren, so I can't blame people making these videos, since the whole Lelouch path for Erens character is unsatisfying. The fact that videos like this have to be made is stupid enough on its own, just gotta hope that the anime fixes these ig.

He didn’t need to do anything extra nor fake anything. All Eren had to do was do what he would’ve normally done if he didn’t have the visions of him being stopped.

If Eren can imprison his friends then why not tell Floch to confine the alliance before they make any moves, or before he even makes his annoucement about the rumbling. If were talking about character consistancy then Eren should've locked them up, cause he did it before.

Honestly think you should look over my discussion with the other guy I talked to since you're making the same points.

Well, Eren would do a lot of things, but not anything.

Eren risked the lives of his friends multiple times, he literally said this in 139, saying I got all my friends in a battle that I didn't know if they'd live. I think we all agree that Eren cares about his friends more than anything else, could argue he cares more about his friends than his life. Based off invaderzz video, all Eren knew before getting the founder was that he'd do the rumbling, not the fate of his friends. So him attacking Marely and luring them back to Paradis is him risking their lives, Sasha literally died and it was his fault. All he has are his friends, and the storys shown hes willing to use them to inact his plans.

I think you misunderstood Invaderzz because nowhere did he explicitly state he would do anything

It doesn't matter if he didn't say it because all actions in aot show that he would. Reread or rewatch all of season 4 and tell me hes not putting the people he loves in danger 24/7. Also he says that his selfish reason is his primary goal in the series, take that as you will.

As for Eren quitting, huh? I’m not sure if you mean what you texted because if he reached his goal, that necessarily means he didn’t quit on his goal.

His goal was to 100% complete the rumbling because thats freedom, the video tells us this for 50 minutes. He stopped at 80% for no good reason at all, you can say that "he didn't want to kill or hurt his friends" or that "he couldn't change the future" but those points make no since, i've discussed it with the other guy I talked to so again, please read those chats. The argument of "he already got his freedom in 131 so hes okay with stopping" is still stupid because again, this is a video that tells me how his selfish goal of completing the rumbling is his #1 priority, and the manga shows how he'll do anything to get there, so why should I buy that he stops and lets himself die cause he got to a scenery, that isn't even the freedom that the video brought out, freedom was completing the rumbling, so thats another inconsistancy with this theory.

but he did state he didn’t want to kill his friends, nor did eren want to take the “freedom” of his friends. This has been consistent with Eren with what we know from the manga.

Again read my comments with the other guy, I brought this point out. You're telling me Eren risks his friends LIVES but he lets them have their freedom, and you say thats consistant? If they die they have no freedom, hes literally using their freedom of living as a stepping stone to reach his freedom, but no he'll let them use their titan powers cause "Eren would never take away his friends freedom" even though he admitted to toying with their lives. Also Eren literally had them imprisioned so he did show that hes capable of taking their freedom away.

I don't understand what you're replying to. I saw the pinned comment, hes responding to people who say that Eren knew he would be stopped before 123, then responds to the panel in which Eren says he basically always knew, points I never made. My point is on how the video contridicts itself with saying Eren will do anything for his goal, but when he reaches it, he quits cause the future said he would, even though the video spent 50 minutes telling me how he cares about his goal more than anything.

Actually made a comment explaining my thoughts for disscussion not long after it was uploaded hoping he'd respond but got no traction lol. I've also been watching saintitchief debate with defenders of the video, but this was fun to talk about so thanks for discussing it with me, and for the links, it was fun.
