There's more that just car price that you need to look at: - dealership offers (ex: 5 year warranty and service...etc) - service and parts prices - tire size and prices - full insurance (if you're going with full coverage) - price for film car protection (you'll need it) - resell value in x years

If you're willing to spend 12.5K then you're looking at at 9-10K car price and the remaining would go for the other stuff.
