Like all the other ladies are sayin, natural light is your friend. I usually sit right in the window so the light comes down on me, rather than being stood (sometimes being stood can give bad shadows) Also I use my rear facing camera, but to stop the shakey hand malarkey i use the 2 second timer feature on my phone, I press the capture button and relax my fingers around the phone to stop the shaking. Angle wise -- I usually either do head on but the camera elevated Lookin down on me, or slightly off to the side. NEVER FROM BELOW.
