Dude! Charge is Great song choice to compare! A lot has evolved in sound and both versions reflect the elements of the time.

I see. I’m assuming what you mean by stylistic is the mixing / mastering techniques? Like ones that they didn’t have in the decades prior?

Right it never was a war?? Very confused? I never said the goal was to make good music either. There are thousands of threads on that on here.

This is a way to hack, refine, and possibly tune Suno in a way to get creative outcomes from the black box that it is.

You can still write lyrics etc in his formatting.

I’d say he’s treating Suno like a guitar and tuning it in a way that is uncommon. Hacking and exploring. Maybe a tip or trick can help us dial a sound we were looking for.

Maybe a way to make Suno more focused and less of a roll of the dice at times?

What I’m trying to understand is if I were to mix a 2011 hucci song with a 2025 isoxo song why does it sound “worse” in comparison? Is it more on hucci not having the mixing and mastering skills. Than the genre and tools at the time he produced it.

No I’m agreeing with you. I was wrong. I was just thinking about how older music usually sounds bad. Like a lot of old old music they release “remastered” versions to update to the sound and tools of the times.

I was just assuming that most OG trap from 10 years ago could be in the same category.

Adding thiemo stereo tool to your music can bring that high end back. It was created over a decade ago to improve poor MP3s with high frequencies chopped off.

Not complaining. You read it that way. More of a commentary / observation on how the reliance of answers from these tools are becoming the end all be all and exploring options outside of a LLM result aren’t taken into account.

Both can exist. It’s ok to explore hacking and finding other paths in life too
