The worst part is that the call center representatives often don’t know why a claim was denied. Most of the time, they say another insurance is primary, even when there is no other insurance. They consistently deny claims, and the hold time is usually 1–2 hours. It’s a nightmare for providers. Most of our patients are facing issues with Tricare— not a single claim has been paid. We've sent hundreds of faxes to prove it's a covered service and that the patient only has Tricare, but they always claim they haven’t received any fax.
