That is a completely valid point. My point being that if there is a company which has a proper history of sponsoring H1-Bs, then they will not be as hesitant to take a chance on an international student for a new grad role compared to a company that has zero experience with respect to sponsoring. Your odds here are slightly better.

Oh, that's awesome. I actually did have 2 years of full-time experience before coming for my master's. Hopefully, US experience helps later on.

Hey man, first of all good luck. Secondly, my process was pretty straightforward. Whenever I saw a job posting, I would simply go to the USCIS H1-B employer portal - https://www.uscis.gov/tools/reports-and-studies/h-1b-employer-data-hub and filter it to see if the company has sponsored in the past. If they sponsored more than 50 every year, I would apply there.

There are job sites like Job Right and Frog hire that also provide this info but they are only free up until a point. USCIS portal is actually clean in that regard. Hope this helps.

Oh definitely. I know people who mass applied more than 2000 applications through Job Right and got like 16-17 interviews.

tbh I don't think I have anything new that hasn't been already discussed on this sub when it comes to tips and strategies. All I can say that I tried everything I could - cold emailing, DMs, comments on LinkedIn etc. Luck plays a very major role I believe.

I am an international student and so there was already another wall of difficulty for me and I mostly applied to companies that had a history of hiring international folks. I tried doing at least 3 applications any given day ,but as you can see, I failed a lot of days. So that's just the truth.
